Gluten Free All Purpose Bread Mix Measured Ingredients

Follow Instructions for Gluten Free All Purpose Bread Mix

When preparing the dough, add all the pre-measured required, except for the boiling water.

Add Gluten Free All Purpose Bread Mix, cool water, vinegar and oil in a medium bowl and mix well.

Once mixed, add boiling water and mix until the dough is smooth and even. The mix can be done by hand, in a stand mixer, or a food processor. When in doubt, mix longer it will not damage the dough.

Rest the Dough

At this point, the dough can rest in a covered bowl for a minimum of 1 hour and up to 4 four hours or if mixed in the afternoon it can rest covered (in plastic wrap) overnight.

If you choose to make baguettes or loaves, do not let them rise in a bowl. View loaves and baguette instructions to learn exactly how we make them perfectly!

Divide into Desired Size and Bake!

Once the dough has rested, it’s time to decide your desired size and preheat the oven!

We will be baking our buns at 325 degrees, 315 for convection. NOTE: DO NOT OPEN THE OVEN until the minimum time has passed or the Bunz will collapse, so no mid-cook peeks! The dough is quite moist, a little extra time in the oven will be totally fine.

For Small Bunz:

  • Divide dough into 8 or 9 equal pieces.
  • Flatten each piece into a disk 3-4 inches across.
  • Bake on parchment paper or Silpat for 45-50 minutes

For Large Bunz:

  • Divide dough into 6 equal pieces.
  • Flatten each piece into a disk approximately 5 inches across.
  • Bake on parchment paper or Silpat for 55-60 minutes

Pro Tip: Lightly oiled hands or gloves make dough handling easier.
