What You'll Need to Bake Keto Friendly Slider Buns:

Ingredients for keto friendly slider buns:

Materials:

  • Small round cutter 2 7/8″-3″. (We use the bottom of a 1 lb. sour cream container with the bottom cut off.)

Gluten Free All Purpose Bread Mix Measured Ingredients

Follow Instructions for All Purpose Bread Mix Then Let Rest.

When preparing the dough, add all the pre measured required and selected optional ingredients, except for the boiling water, and mix well.

Add boiling water and mix well until the dough is smooth and even. The mix can be done by hand, in a stand mixer, or a food processor. When in doubt, mix longer it will not damage the dough.

At this point, the dough can rest in a covered bowl for four hours (for zero sugars) or if mixed in the afternoon it can rest covered (in plastic wrap) overnight.

Roll & Cut Out Keto Friendly Slider Buns

Once the dough has rested and you are ready to get to baking, it’s time to preheat the oven to 325 degrees (315 degrees convection).

Roll out the dough into a sheet.

Punch out roughly 20 slider buns with the cutter. If you have a food scale, each bun should weigh approximately 1.3 oz.

Note: the scraps can be re-rolled many times without affecting the quality.

Add Seeds and Bake!

Place buns on a lined baking sheet. Brush with egg and sprinkle with sesame (or other) seeds if you desire.

Bake at 325° for 35 minutes.
